Delete Your Account

1. Delete your account in the app

The fastest way to delete your account is from inside the Lorie app:

• Open the Lorie app and sign in.
• Go to the Profile tab, then open account settings.
• Tap "Delete Account".
• Confirm by typing the exact phrase DELETE ACCOUNT to enable the delete button, then confirm.

When you confirm, we send a confirmation email and schedule your account for permanent deletion after a 30-day recovery window. During those 30 days you can sign back in to cancel the deletion and restore your account intact. After the recovery window ends, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

2. What gets deleted

After the 30-day recovery window, we permanently delete the personal data we hold about you, including:

• Your account and authentication records (email and sign-in method).
• Your profile and nutrition goals (gender, age, height, weight, target weight, goal, activity level, diet type, and calculated targets).
• Your food and meal logs, body metrics, water intake, logged activities, fasting data, and daily summaries.
• All meal, barcode, and label photos stored in your storage folder.
• Your onboarding responses and scan diagnostics.
• Your Lorie coach chat history (subject to the limited safety records noted below).

3. What is kept, and for how long

A small amount of data is retained or anonymized rather than removed, so that other people's experience and our legal obligations are preserved:

• Inner Circle content: text you posted to a shared circle is anonymized to a "Deleted Account" rather than removed from other members' conversations, so their threads stay intact. Media you uploaded to a circle (voice notes, shared meal-post photos, circle banners) may likewise remain within those members' threads, detached from your identity.
• Safety and audit records: we may keep limited records, such as Lorie coach moderation logs, that we need to keep the service safe.
• Legal and financial records: information we are required to retain by law (for example, tax or transaction records) is kept for the period required by applicable law and then deleted.
• Anonymized or aggregated data: data that no longer identifies you may be retained.

Cancelling your Lorie Pro subscription is separate from deleting your account, and is managed through your app store account settings. Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete your account or cancel your subscription.

4. Request deletion by email

If you cannot use the in-app flow, email privacy@lorieai.app from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your identity and action the request within the timeframes required by applicable law. You can also email privacy@lorieai.app to request a copy of your data or to exercise any other privacy right.
